I just received this item and it looks much better in person than in the picture. I love my new Buddha and he looks great in the garden. The finish does not look like metal but it does have a coppery, iron color to it, looks more like it is made out of a concrete/stone mixture. I originally wanted a larger statue but the size on this one is perfect and he really looks great in my newly established "Peace Garden".
